My Story
Hi, and welcome to my corner of the internet. I’m a mom, a wife, a daughter, an in-law, a sister, and a career woman — juggling all the hats life has given me. Like many, I once believed that passion should drive our careers, that following your heart would naturally lead to fulfillment and success. But life, with all its twists, turns, and wake-up calls, taught me otherwise.

For a long time, I thought that work was everything — that climbing the career ladder and working long hours would eventually pay off. I believed that if I gave my all to my job, I would find success and happiness. I once heard the saying, “If you love your work, you’ll never work a day in your life,” and thought that’s what I was striving for. But I’ve come to realize that this ideal was far from the truth. Passion alone doesn’t always pay the bills, and no amount of overtime can replace the value of time spent with loved ones or taking care of my own health. In fact, I regret those long hours I spent working, thinking it would lead to fulfillment, only to discover that what truly matters is having a life after work — a healthy one, a balanced one, a meaningful one.

In the midst of managing family, relationships, and professional responsibilities, I’ve learned that taking care of your physical, mental and emotional health is just as important as any promotion or project. This blog is where I share pieces of my journey — the good, the hard, and the honest. From navigating burnout and depression to finding new purpose and redefining success, my hope is that my stories can offer comfort, perspective, or even just a gentle reminder that you’re not alone. Whether you’re feeling stuck, searching for meaning, or simply trying to make it through the day, I’m here, writing for you — because I’ve been there too.

Thanks for being here. I hope you find something that resonates and helps you along your path.
